bitsquare blog alexa rank is 13....
Hi inspirits, suddenly the Alexa rank of my blog bitsquare is above my imagination and reach.Alexa is showing my rank as 13 and I know it is a error but how come it gave that error number to me.Previously it was some where in lakhs and just kept on decreasing by hundreds only but still it will be around one lakh above ,but this sudden rank in top 20 is unexpected.Along with writing to Alexa,I am asking any of my fellow blogger's came across this issue. If yes let me know. But do not ask me the tip for getting this rank...lol...
SMS Google for quick results.
Google had another feather in its crown now.this time it is offering mobile search but not free of cost and this is available with only few telecom service providers. but the problem is it is not a refined search but for the time being it is very helpful. For a free demo you can log on to Google SMS beta now and know the different types of search it provides.
there are several search features in it and according to that we can refine our search on out own ways.Currently the GOOGLE SMS is available to all Airtel , BPL , BSNL and Reliance subscribers in Bangalore,Hyderabad and Delhi. For example if you wish to find the address of a famous location you can just type "pvrcinemas hyderabad" then it will return the address of the location and phone number. It was very useful for me in finding the near by coffee day location. If it was useful to you please let me know and any further refined searches please update me.

10 golden tips for cell batteries
The very main problem with the usage of cell is battery charging, which we come across several times.since being uncommunicative immediately is alien thing in this world now a days, which happens when we run out of battery power.so here are my tips to get long life for cell battery.
1. Get rid of the little sound that the phone makes when you press a key. You should find how to do that in your phone's settings.
2.Use a louder ringtone instead of the vibration alert whenever possible. Ringtones drain lesser energy.
3.you can adjust - and reduce - the backlight timeout. Make it as low as possible.
4.Always treat your mobile-phone battery with care. Do not drop or hit it against any hard objects. And try to take extra care of the metal contact plates as they determine the connection between the mobile phone and the battery.
5.Turn OFF the phone before removing the battery. Many phone users neglect this important step, which ultimately reduces the overall performance of the battery.
6.Avoid exposing battery in the sun, as extremely high temperature reduces the capacity of the battery permanently. This commonly occurs in cases where phone owners leave their phones in the cars parked under direct sunlight or kept for charging in sunlight hit area in a room.
7.If you have a dual mode "digital and analog" phone, this one is very important... when you travel in an "Analog Area" and you know you won't need your phone for a while, turn it off, since the analog system is tougher on cell phone batteries. Digital phones actually have power management features - similar to those of your computer - that analog phones don't have.
8.The NiCad and NiMH batteries are subject to the "" to a large and small extent respectively.
Memory Effect:Suppose you recharge your phone battery every time when your battery is 60% discharged. Eventually, it will so occur that as soon as the phone gets discharged by 60%, it will "forget" that the battery has the 40% charge remaining. It will hence show the "Battery Low" indication. The rest of the 40% charge is wasted (You cannot recover it). This simply leads to a huge reduction in talk-time and standby time.
9.To get rid of memory effect in NiCad type, battery must be discharged and recharged fully on every recharge cycle.
10.To get rid of memory effect in NiMH type, battery must be discharged fully on every 20th recharge cycle.

Apple and Nike to introduce Nike Amp+ bracelet for iPods
Apple Computer and Nike plan to introduce a new wireless wristband device that will allow runners to interact with their iPods without constantly fiddling with the players' sweat-slicked Click-Wheel.
the $80 device will act as a wrist-mounted Bluetooth remote and let users browse the songs on their iPod and check running times without that constant fumbling that often ensues while attempting to maintain focus on a run.
The device will sync up with the existing Nike+iPod running system, displaying information on an illuminated LED display "hidden beneath the matte-finish face of the bracelet." Meanwhile, the iPod may remain tucked away in a runner's pocket or armband.
Further features of the device, expected to be released under the name Nike Amp+, are unclear from the report. However, a single included marketing image suggests that gadget may hold potential to deliver one of the most frequently-requested components for the Nike+iPod system: a heart rate monitor.
The Nike+iPod kit gathers data such as distance, calories burned, time and pace. The data is then stored on the iPod and easily uploaded through iTunes to nikeplus.com, a personal service site where runners can track their own progress and challenge other runners.
Nike has already introduced Nike+iPod Sport Kit and this will be available in local indian markets in two months as the souces said.

Yahoo messenger invisible hack - How to find if someone is really offline!
Yahoo messenger allows stealth mode using which you can set your online status as "offline" even when you are logged in to yahoo messenger. People use it to avoid chat when they are busy or to block out spam messages.
1. But there is a hack which allows you to see whether someone is really offline or not. The easiest way is to directly acess the online status image using the URL - http://opi.yahoo.com/online?u=userid&m=g&t=2 (replace userid with the actual user id).
2. The second way is to start a voice chat with
the userid you want to check. If you don't get an
error it indicates that the user is indeed online,
but in invisible mode. This works only in previous
versions of Yahoo messenger.
3. The only method which seems to work on latest versions of Yahoo messenger is the IMEnviornment hack. First send a message to the user id and then immediately change the IMEnviorment. Now if the guy is really offline, you will get a message "waiting for your friend to load the theme" message. If he is online, you will just get a blank page!

Google translate to Access Blocked Websites
Google gives a powerful tool google translate to gain access for blocked websites.I found this was working only for the websites which do not require login and authorisation.I found it when I was searching for some tool to open cricinfo.com at my workplace.Google gave this wonderful tool to access blocked websites but without pictures.
there are several ways to gain access for blocked websites, but they worked partially for me.
1.using IP address: Instead of typing the domain name, just type the IP address of the website.to find the IP address there is a tool like this and a way from your run command.Open..start-->run-->type"//ping www.myurlhere.com" without quotations and hit enter.you will be provided with an IP address there, copy and paste it in the address bar.
2.using Google cache:you can find this in results of google search engine.
3.rest is using proxy servers s all of you know like proxify, block stop and many more like this....Goolge is there for you human.
Two monitors are better than one
You can never have enough screen space.Instead of buying a larger monitor, if you're using Windows XP, you can buy an inexpensive second monitor and connect it to your computerinstantly doubling your desktop space. Flat panel LCD monitors look great and will save room on your desk; CRT monitors also work well and can be less expensive.
There are several different ways you can make use of this extra screen space when working at home or in your office. If you take a lot of digital pictures, some of the advantages to having dual monitors at your work space include:
There are several different ways you can make use of this extra screen space when working at home or in your office. If you take a lot of digital pictures, some of the advantages to having dual monitors at your work space include:
| When browsing your picture library, you can view the thumbnails on one monitor, and use the second monitor to view pictures full screen to check for proper focus and image quality. |
| When editing photos, you can use one monitor to browse the pictures with Windows Explorer or a photo library program, and use the second monitor to edit the pictures with your photo-editing software. |
| If you need to stay on top of your e-mail while working, you can keep your inbox open on one monitor and work on your photos on the other. |
What you'll need: desktop computer
Many new desktop computers support dual monitors without requiring any additional hardware. To see if you have more than one monitor connection, look at the back of your computer for two Video Graphics Array (VGA) connectors or two Digital Visual Interface (DVI) connectors or one of each.
Most new desktop computers include two connectors to support dual monitors.
If you only have a single VGA or DVI connector, you will need to install a video adapter. You can either install a second video adapter or replace your current video adapter with one that has two VGA or DVI connections. Installing video adapters can be difficult if you're not familiar with the inside of your computer, so you may want to seek assistance from a local computer retailer that offers computer upgrade services.
What you'll need: laptop computer
If you have a laptop computer made in the last several years, you can almost certainly support an external monitor by connecting it to the VGA or DVI connector on the back of your computer. The external monitor can act as a second display to your laptop's built-in display.
Configuring your displays
Connect your second monitor, and then restart your computer so that it detects the new monitor. Once you have restarted your computer, you'll need to adjust your display settings by following these steps:
Configuring your displays
Connect your second monitor, and then restart your computer so that it detects the new monitor. Once you have restarted your computer, you'll need to adjust your display settings by following these steps:
1. | Click the Start menu, and then click Control Panel. |
2. | Click Appearance and Themes, and then click Display. |
Once you connect your second monitor, you need to adjust your display settings.
3. | In the Display Properties dialog box, click the Settings tab. |
4. | Click the monitor icon labeled 2, and then select the Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor checkbox. Extend your Windows desktop to your second monitor. |
5. | If necessary, drag the monitor icons so that they are arranged in the same way as the monitors on your desk. Click the Identify button to indicate which monitor is 1 and which monitor is 2. Drag the monitor icons to match the physical arrangement of your monitors. |
6. | Click Apply. Windows XP will activate your new monitor. |
7. | Click OK. A dual monitor setup enables you to view the same image side by side. |
Once your monitor is set up, you can use your mouse to grab the title bar of a window and drag it to your new display. If a window does not move when you drag it, double-click the title bar first, and then drag it. Having two monitors will forever change the way you work with your computer. Be creative and experiment with the sizing of application windows and what information you can keep in constant view while doing multiple tasks.

5 ways for google traffic assistance
If you’ve ever had a severe drop in your Google rankings in search results, you may think of Google more of an enemy than an ally. But if you knew what I do, you’d realize that there are tools provided by the search engine that help you learn more about your traffic, and may even help drive visitors to your site. Here are five ways that Google provides free traffic assistance.
#1 - Google will Help Your Pages Get Discovered with Google Sitemaps
https://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/login
Google Sitemaps is a program that gives you the opportunity to present your site’s pages to Google in XML or text. Google will then come by and spider the pages, getting you indexed faster.Take note that this doesn’t necessarily mean that your pages will be listed for your favorite keywords, only that discovery will take place a lot faster than with manual submission. Google Sitemaps will also give you some basic site stats if you verify your site, such as the top keywords for discovery, errors it found when crawling, and the types of documents at your site.If you find compiling your sitemap for Google in the correct format difficult, try the SOFTplus GSiteCrawler Google Sitemap generator. It’s my favorite Sitemap generator, free and easy to use.
#2 - Google Will Talk To You and Your Webmaster In His or Her Native Tongue or Plain English with the Webmaster Section
http://www.google.com/webmasters/
The Google Information Page for Webmasters should be your first stop when you want to know more about anything that has to do with your site and its relationship to Google and any of its many flavors of search such as Froogle. Particularly for new site owners or operators, checking this page first has saved many from needless anxiety. Most of the basic information is in straightforward language, with links to details for geeks like me.
#3 - Google will Tell You What It Knows with Web Page Information
If you type info:yoursite.com into Google, Google will tell show you a page that has your link at the top of the page, with a short description, and the following phrase “Google can show you the following information for this URL”.This special page compiles several queries about your site including pages that contain your URL (all the pages Google knows of that are linked to you).
#4 - Google will Help You Analyze Your Traffic with Google Analytics
http://www.google.com/analytics/ After a recent purchase of Urchin Stats, a free online version has been made available, and re-branded as Google Analytics. This cookie-based invisible visitor tracker can give you information that go a bit beyond standard stats such as bounce rates, visitor loyalty, keyword discovery results for a single day, click paths through your site, and page views per visit. With the ability to analyze your traffic, you can help learn where the holes in your site are, and how to keep them on your site for longer periods of time, as well as better ways to steer a visit towards a specific action, such as a subscription. Results come in flavors for the executive and the search marketer alike. There’s currently a waiting list to use Google Analytics due to popular demand.
#5 - Google Will Advise On Getting the Most from Your Traffic with Conversion University
http://www.google.com/analytics/conversionuniversity.html Google Analytics also has two content sections that are available to all, called Conversion University. While the articles are decidedly slanted towards AdWords users, a prudent read yields many clues that can be applied to preparing for visitors who arrive through organic search discovery. One reference area is called “Driving Traffic”, the other “Converting Visitors.”At the end of the day, the process by which your site gets ranked in Google search engine results is a computation of a complex algorithm, which means Google - the search engine - really isn’t capable of being your best friend or your worst enemy.
Meanwhile, Google - the company - also provides access to resources that will help give your site a fighting chance.

20 things We didn t know about Windows XP
Now it s time to delve a bit deeper and uncover some of Windows XP's secrets.
1. It boasts how long it can stay up. Whereas previous versions of Windows were coy about how long they went between boots, XP is positively proud of its
stamina. Go to the Command Prompt in the Accessories menu from the All Programs start button option, and then type systeminfo . The computer will produce a lot of useful info, including the uptime. If you want to keep these, type systeminfo > info.txt . This creates a file called info.txt you can look at later with Notepad. (Professional Edition only).
2. You can delete files immediately, without having them move to the Recycle Bin first. Go to the Start menu, select Run... And type gpedit.msc ; then select
User Configuration, Administrative Templates, Windows Components, Windows Explorer and find the Do not move deleted files to the Recycle Bin setting. Set it.Poking around in gpedit will reveal a great many interface and system options, but take care – some may stop your computer behaving as you wish.(Professional Edition only).
3. You can lock your XP workstation with two clicks of the mouse. Create a new shortcut on your desktop using a right mouse click, and enter rundll32.exeuser32.dll, LockWorkStation in the location field. Give the shortcut a name you like. That s it -- just Double click on it and your computer will be locked. And if that s not easy enough, Windows key + L will do the same.
4. XP hides some system software you might want to remove, such as Windows Messenger, but you can tickle it and make it disgorge everything. Using Notepad or Edit, edit the text file /windows/inf/sysoc.inf, search for the word hide and remove it. You can then go to the Add or Remove Programs in the Control Panel, select Add/Remove Windows Components and there will be your prey, exposed and vulnerable.
5. For those skilled in the art of DOS batch files, XP has a number of interesting new commands. These include eventcreate and eventtriggers for creating and watching system events, typeperf for monitoring performance of various subsystems, and schtasks for handling scheduled tasks. As usual, typing the command name followed by /? Will give a list of options -- they re all far too baroque to go into here.
6. XP has IP version 6 support -- the next generation of IP. Unfortunately this is more than your ISP has, so you can only experiment with this on your LAN. Type ipv6 install into Run... (it s OK, it won t ruin your existing network setup) and then ipv6 /? at the Command line to find out more. If you don t know what IPv6 is, don t worry and don t bother.
7. You can at last get rid of tasks on the computer from the command line by using taskkill /pid and the task number, or just tskill and the process number. Find that out by typing tasklist , which will also tell you a lot about what s going on in your system.
8. XP will treat Zip files like folders, which is nice if you ve got a fast machine. On slower machines, you can make XP leave zip files well alone by typing regsvr32 /U zipfldr.dll at the command line. If you change your mind later, you can put things back as they were by typing regsvr32 zipfldr.dll .
9. XP has ClearType -- Microsoft s anti-aliasing font display technology -- but doesn t have it enabled by default. It s well worth trying, especially if you were there for DOS and all those years of staring at a screen have given you the eyes of an astigmatic bat. To enable ClearType, right click on the desktop, select Properties, Appearance, Effects, select ClearType from the second drop-down menu and enable the selection. Expect best results on laptop displays. If you want to use ClearType on the Welcome login screen as well, set the registry entry
HKEY_USERS/.DEFAULT/ControlPanel/Desktop/FontSmoothingType to 2.
10. You can use Remote Assistance to help a friend who s using network address translation (NAT) on a home network, but not automatically. Get your pal to email you a Remote Assistance invitation and edit the file. Under the RCTICKET attribute will be a NAT IP address, like 192.168.1.10. Replace this with your chum s real IP address -- they can find this out by going to WWW.ip2location.Com -- and get them to make sure that they ve got port 3389 open on their firewall and forwarded to the errant computer.
11. You can run a program as a different user without logging out and back in again. Right click the icon, select Run As... And enter the user name and password you want to use. This only applies for that run. The trick is particularly useful if you need to have Administrative permissions to install a program, which many require. Note that you can have some fun by running programs multiple times on the same system as different users, but this can have unforeseen effects.
12. Windows XP can be very insistent about you checking for auto updates, registering a Passport, using Windows Messenger and so on. After a while, the nagging goes away, but if you feel you might slip the bonds of sanity before that point, run Regedit, go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Explorer/Advanced and create a DWORD value called EnableBalloonTips with a value of 0.
13. You can start up without needing to enter a user name or password. Select Run... from the start menu and type control userpasswords2 , which will open the user accounts application. On the Users tab, clear the box for Users Must Enter A User Name And Password To Use This Computer, and click on OK. An Automatically Log On dialog box will appear; enter the user name and password for the account you want to use.
14. Internet Explorer 6 will automatically delete temporary files, but only if you tell it to. Start the browser, select Tools / Internet Options... and Advanced, go down to the Security area and check the box to Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when Browser is closed.
15. XP comes with a free Network Activity Light, just in case you can t see the LEDs twinkle on your network card. Right click on My Network Places on the desktop, then select Properties. Right click on the description for your LAN or dial-up connection, select Properties, then check the Show icon in notification area when connected box. You ll now see a tiny network icon on the right of your task bar that glimmers nicely during network traffic.
16. The Start Menu can be leisurely when it decides to appear, but you can speed things along by changing the registry entry HKEY_CURRENT_USER/ControlPanel/Desktop/MenuShowDelay from the default 400 to something a little snappier. Like 0.
17. You can rename loads of files at once in Windows Explorer. Highlight a set of files in a window, then right click on one and rename it. All the other files will be renamed to that name, with individual numbers in brackets to distinguish them. Also, in a folder you Can arrange icons in alphabetised groups by View, Arrange Icon By... Show In Groups.
18. Windows Media Player will display the cover art for albums as it plays the tracks -- if it found the picture on the Internet when you copied the tracks from the CD. If it didn t, or if you have lots of pre-WMP music files, you can put your own copy of the cover art in the same directory as the tracks. Just call it folder.jpg and Windows Media Player will pick it up and display it.
19. Windows key + Break brings up the System Properties dialogue box; Windows key + D brings up the desktop; Windows key + Tab moves through the taskbar buttons.
20. try all the above and post your comments.friends reported few are not working..

(Professional Edition only).

how to create temporary drive in my computer..
we can create a temporary drive in system by following the simple steps
1.First, open up Command Prompt. If you can't find it, then press Start, then Run, type cmd in the box and press OK.
2.In the command prompt type subst x: c:\windows, where "x:" is what you want the drive letter to be, and "c:\windows" is where you want the assigned drive letter to point to. In this case it's pointed to c:\windows, you can set it to point to whatever folder you like.
3.If you don't need the new "drive" anymore, just delete it. Type subst /d x: in Command Prompt, where "x:" is the drive letter you created earlier.
The drive you pointed can be any folder you like such as you can create seperate folder for songs...try this out and send your comments.

Blackle-black google to save energy
White is Costlier, when it comes to color and electricity also than Black.switching off the monitors when not in use could save lot of energy, and here you can save energy just by shifting from White Google to black Google...blackle..According to EcoIron, “An all white web page uses about 74 watts to display, while an all black page uses only 59 watts.” As Google has more than 200 million queries a day, and if Google has a black background, it would save 750 Megawatt-hours a year!
Blackle took this point into consideration and they have created an all black homepage for searching in Google. Have a look at this and try it out. Black Google seems to be little odd as we are using White Google.

How to open a Firefox inside a Firefox ??
I saw this funny trick on Techieblog , which enables you to open multiple Firefox's inside a Firefox.May be it's not useful for something , but its a simple tweak that looks cool.Just paste the text below in you address bar and press Enter.
If you have any trick like this , don't forget to send me along with your link.
how can u know what is done on your system without your presence???!!
this software is widely available on the Internet ..just trail versions which can be cracked ...did u ever consider what is happening on your system...is any one accessing your files unknowingly to u....are there any unauthorized users for your system directly...a software that helps in this arena is key logger...which shows everything done on key board...This secure utility is not visible in the ‘start menu’, ‘system start up’, ‘add remove program list’ and even it hides the destination folders path...Cannot be detected even by any anti-virus software
http://www.datadoctor.in/data-recovery-software/keylogger.html
download the 15 days trial pack in the mean while i will get the perfect key logger with advanced features....as it is a part of thesis done by my friend....
